The improved weather over the past few days has allowed the Park Service to open, to the upper lake, the two medicine road; the campground still is closed, and there is a lot of snow left in the area. Some of the drifts still are 5-6 feet deep!
This shot was taken this morning, yes that is ice on the lake! Things still are slow around here. The Lodge in East Glacier just opened yesterday. A few people are trickling into town, but overall it's been quite for the past week or two.
