Summer Flowers and Logan Pass

Made the trip to Logan Pass, and all I can say is "wow, a lot of snow!" The snow pack is as deep as I've seen it. It's going to be a while before there's much flower growth. The skiers are having a great time. If it's your cup of tea, you can ski from the parking lot up the side of Clemens Mountain and back down to where Oberlin Falls meets the Sun Road with no problem.

We continue to get good moisture and that has pushed the blooms at the lower elevations to a peak that I can not recall in recent years. The bear grass is even coming on this year which according to my calculations is at least two years early. This would be a great time to come out and photograph the Park!
