Flooding and Food . . .

Rain, Rain, Rain -
Well, just after a few days of nice spring weather, the heavens have opened and dumped several inches of rain over the region. Today, Saturday, it sill is raining although some of the water has started to recede. On Friday water was over the roadway along HWY 2 about 3 miles west of East Glacier Park. The Two Medicine River is flowing strong and flooding in some places along its lower reaches. The forecast is for more rain, but not as heavy as it has been for the last two days. It looks like, if the forecast is correct, we should see some nice warm temps by later in the week, but for now, 40’s and rain is what you get!

Food at the NEW Villager -
Ate dinner at the newly remodeled Villager restaurant last night. It was good. The service was good, and the food was tasty. The menu could use bit more diversity for dinner, but the lunch and breakfast selections should provide something for everyone. Prices are about what you would expect in a touristy area. Overall I was happy, even if they still don’t know how to make espresso, or ice coffees, in time, I’m sure they will get the hang of it!
